The very best possible hosting company that exist in the world is the following:
I don’t care what ANYONE tells you, the planet is the biggest and best hosting company that exist. Many large scale websites, famous tech people including leo laporte, and even major hosting companies, are actually hosted under them.
They have premium dedicated servers where you can install your own server software and manage the server from your PC. They are very expensive, starting at around $80 a month, but if you want the best of the best company, the Planet is the way to go.
There are smaller hosting companies as well that are good with dedicated hosting, but if you are looking for “the best” dedicated hosting, the Planet is the way to go.
There are many, I would go with a well known company.
google.com “webhosting” usually the first result is the best.
I use mediatemple. Very happy with them so far. If you’re into PHP…you can customize your own php.ini file. Very fast and reliable.
